The Strait

Today the ship entered the strait of Megellan, continuing the journey to Punta Arenas, and I can tell you, the views are simply spectacular!

At around 10am, we officially crossed from the Pacific to the Atlantic, shown by this parting in the water;

A little while later we came across an abandoned shipwreck. Very intriguing indeed!
In the early afternoon we passed through a body of water called the English Narrow. Indeed, the passage was so narrow that we could clearly see the bushes and trees on either side:
Of course, I took the opportunity to enjoy some tea.

The ship has to snake left and right at one point in order to dodge the rocks. We were perfectly safe though, the war was clearly marked by buoys.
During this part, I also relaxed and enjoyed the view with some more tea…

In the late afternoon we passed by a tiny village, the houses of which can be barely seen in the distance:
There were even some locations with some interesting waterfalls.
