The Southernmost City in the World

Yesterday we arrived in Punta Arenas, finally mooring in the evening.

Punta Arenas is the southernmost city in the world and honestly I am so excited to be here.

Today I got the opportunity to explore the city a little with some friends, hugging the coastline. We saw many monuments along the way.

Jonathan met a friend along the way.

We found a good view of the ship, a perfect opportunity for a photo!

There was also a rickety old pier with birds that looked like penguins (they could fly).

Tomorrow the Bookfair will officially open, and I am super excited to get down to business!
