The Independence Plaza

Monday was my off day, and I decided to spend the day exploring the city of Rosario.

Myself and my new STEPer friends decided to trek into the city centre and find the main park, called Independence Plaza.

The park was very beautiful with a spectacular water feature in the centre…

There were plenty of trees and green spaces, which was a nice change to the urban jungle of the rest of the city.

For lunch we grabbed some pizza from a local restaurant. It was cheap and delicious. Winner!!!

After this we returned to the ship, after waking a different route through the city.

It was a very nice off-day and I thoroughly enjoyed the change of pace after the hectic period after the challenge team.
