Today was my Connect Day (C-Day) in which I helped out with an Onboard Event. I wore a mixture of an Indian Costume and a Mongolian hat, leading to my nickname ‘the Cucumber’

The event was tailored for school children, who after wondering through the Bookfair and I-Cafe would have the chance to help the King find his son!

The kids would enter the Hope Theater; a large space designed especially for events like this.

There were two cultural stations; one Asian and one European. Here the kids could experience different cultures and ways of life.

I (rather curiously) was in charge of the Asian Station for the later portion of my C-Day. I bowed a lot and showed the kids how to hold fans, chopsticks and cups correctly.

The kids would then be led into a little theatre, and the King would arrive! Here he would look for his missing son.

Then, right at the end, the son appeared, and the day was saved!

All in all, I had a lot of fun, and we impacted many little lives; over 420 kids were involved in the event! A real triumph!
