Dry Dock is well and truly upon us, and this means that those who aren’t useful to the complete renovation of the Logos Hope are now being transported all over the world in Challenge Teams.

My Challenge Team is located 30 minutes from the ship, in the suburbs of Montevideo.

After a lot of confusion about who’s going where and what we’re actually doing, things have been cleared up over lunch.

The team will be split up into groups and do a variety of activities, visiting over 30 churches in four weeks. This is particularly exciting, as the potential to see God in action is huge.

Other activities include children’s programs and culture nights. These are bound to be interesting, as we have people from so many places in my challenge team.

For the next 10 days, I will be staying in a dodgy house across the road from a church.

Even if it’s not much, I’m excited for the coming days and what God will do in the lives of the locals.
