Today I will be discussing my morning routine, hopefully giving you more of an idea of ship life.

I wake up at 6:45, aiming to be out of bed by 7:00. I have a shower and get dressed for the day.

This is because breakfast starts at 7:00 and morning devotions at 7:45. Breakfast often consists of toast and some fruit. But on special occasions we might get croissants or bacon!

Morning devotions are supposed to be mandatory, and I make a special effort to get there on time, because it is often hard to be awake that early in the morning. Especially if I had evening shift the night before.

After devotions, I either go to work for 9:00 if I have morning shift, or back to bed until lunch if I have evening shift.

At 12:00 I have lunch, marking the end of my morning routine.

Undoubtedly the hardest part is waking up in the morning after evening shift, as I am working until 00:00.

Even still I am excited to start each day and find out what God has in store for me!
