For the last week, I’ve been down with a cold, and as such, haven’t done anything bar eating, sleeping and working. Even still, interesting things have been happening onboard. Normally Monday is the Ships Off-Day, but in Argentina, it was a national holiday, so the ship opened and had its Off-Day on Tuesday instead.

Power cut affected most of the country and it was dark and dingy on Monday, so not as many people showed up as expected. The weather reminded me of a rainy autumn in the UK.

Indeed just the Saturday before, we had hail just prior to a lighting storm!

Tuesday, however, was a much more pleasant day.

Bookfair decided to have a picnic in the sun, it was a good time for fun and fellowship.

In the evening I watched a football match: Brazil vs Venezuela. It finishes 0-0. What was more entertaining was the crazy amount of Latinos responding to the match! Unfortunately I didn’t get any photos.

It was a restful off-day and I’m feeling much better and ready for the upcoming week!
