Football with Chileans

This evening myself and 7 other Logos Hope staff made an excursion into the city of Antofagasta to play in an 8 vs 8 match.

On the way there, all 7 of us had to squeeze into a single 5 seater car. Boy from Kenya joked that they do the same in his country.

Team Logos won 2 – 0 after a tough game reminiscent of Sunday League Football.

This was my first time playing with Chilean locals and honestly it was so much fun.
I played Goalkeeper for half of the match and made some crucial saves, so good that I have been asked to be the ships new Goalkeeper.
The rest of the match I played on the left, and played some good football, but didn’t have a major impact on the field.

The Chileans were all solid players and was seriously fun to play against (they were quite rough but fair).

I hope to play football again in the future!
