Monday was my off-day and in the afternoon myself and over 100 others enjoyed a traditional Argentine pass time of cooking and eating together.

There was a giant bbq and a fire pit. It was clearly made for community eating.

Just beyond the food area were large field. It was very reminiscent of England.

After the main course was served (some extremely tasty asado) …

… many people played football on the big fields. It was great fun, as people of all ages were able to play.

After this it was time to go back to the ship. In the evening I went out with some friends for some ice cream. It was a good end to a good day.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Rosario, and God did some amazing things while the ship was there. Over 100,000 people visited the ship in the three weeks it was in port and over 41,000 school kids visited as well. Many people accepted Christ and the local church was greatly encouraged. The next stop is Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina.
