A couple of days ago, the Logos entered into port in Montevideo, Uruguay!

Uruguay has a real emphasis on the separation between Church and State, meaning that evangelising to local school children is impossible. Thus, everyone on board has to be very careful when there are school children around.

Inside the port, there is a small monument area especially made for tourists.

Just outside the port is the old town, possibly the most attractive part of the city. Many of the buildings hark back to the colonial age, when the Spanish were in charge of much of South America.

We decided to get coffee at a local place, but it was overpriced and disgusting, with the coffee tasting like soap.

On the way back to the ship we ran into some interesting characters that were banging their drums in some kind of performance. Quite a sight to be sure.

I will leave you with a photo of the ship at night, looking very majestic indeed.
