It’s Easter time and so onboard, plenty of things are going on.

Every Thursday there is a prayer night, with this weeks being focused on the betrayal, trial and sentence of Jesus Christ.

I took part in a drama depicting these events as they unfolded. I played a disciple, unsure of what to do as Jesus was being arrested by the Roman authorities.
It was quite an emotional night, and there was a lot of reflection taking place.
The following morning, there was a Good Friday service. This celebrated the sacrifice that Jesus made for us all.
It also included an Acapella performance sung by many of Ship’s Company. The song was ‘Nearer My God to Thee‘ and it was spectacular.

Finally, on Sunday, there was a sunrise service to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

It was amazing to worship God while watching the sun rise, giving us all new hope before dry dock.

We had a delicious brunch to top it all off. Thank you Catering!
