The town we visited for four days was called Cuidad de la Costa (City of the Coast). We were there to help plant a church as there wasn’t any in this part of the city.

We stayed in the house of the people owning an official venue (for weddings and such) and so the food we received was extremely nice!

On Monday we evangelised in the streets all day, and had a prayer meeting in the evening, but on Tuesday we were rained off.

Wednesday we went out evangelising again, inviting people to the evening prayer meeting. One person who had a bad relationship with God came to Christ later in the prayer meeting!

But on Thursday, I had some stomach problems and was too sick to evangelise during the day. Even still the others kept on keeping on, and had a good time out on the streets.

The opportunity to help with planting a church was really special, and the future looks bright for this particular gathering!

Interestingly enough, despite being in a place called City of the Coast, I never saw the sea. A little ironic I think. Also, I’m feeling better now, my stomach issues have passed.

My Challenge Team is nearing to an end, as I will be rejoining the ship soon.  So my next blog will be giving an overview of the whole thing.
