After leaving the port of Antofagasta the Logos Hope is spending 4 days at sea before arriving at Valparaiso. Naturally this is an interesting time for the whole crew, as many departments find themselves with little to do.

The tilt of the ship is very noticeable, but manageable, providing that my possessions are tied down.

I spent most of the day working in the ‘lifeboat’ (a part of the Bookfair I will discuss once in Valparaiso), cutting little holes in little boxes. However, that is boring to talk about, so I will talk about dolphins.

In the morning there was a dolphin show, around 20 were sighted and several of them even went up to the bow (front) if the ship to say hello.

I didn’t take photos of the dolphins directly beneath me because I was afraid to drop my phone. Even still, they were wonderful to look at and very graceful in the water.

Deck 9 (the top of the ship) is simply stunning to stand upon, the Pacific Sea simply opens up around the ship.

The sunset was particularly beautiful, truly a testament to God’s glory.
