Sorry this blog is so late, but I’ve not had any Wi-Fi before today, so I’ve been unable to provide an update.
The first day I met many people and was able to spend the day resting, and a good thing too; I was super exhausted.
Today I began my training and have had to soak up a lot of information, most crucially people’s names, which was quite difficult with so many people onboard. The Short Term Exposure Programme (STEP) has a total of 30 people this time round, which I am told is quite a lot.
There are only two British people in STEP, and there are many people from Germany, the Netherlands, South Korea, USA, Hong Kong and many other nationalities.
The ship layout is a bit confusing at times, but I am already getting the hang of it and soon I will have no problem navigating the many corridors of the Logos Hope.
I am super excited to explore what else the ship has in store and tomorrow I will be introducing my cabin mates!
I will try and update my blog as often as I can….unless I am too tired!
