A Resounding Success!

On the 1st of November, the very kind ladies at Christ Church Padgate held a Coffee Morning in my honour, raising money for my time aboard the Logos Hope.

The morning, from 10 O’clock to 12 O’clock, included tea and coffee, a cake stall and even a raffle! Over 50 people attended and packed the Christ Church Meeting Room full, so much that the overdraft spilled into seats outside of the Meeting Room!

Thanks to their help, and the wonderful generosity of those visiting, the Coffee Morning was a resounding success!

Indeed, the total amount raised was an incredible:

£ 3 5 9 . 1 2 !

This amount truly exceeded all of my expectations, and I am simply blown away by the extraordinary kindness shown.

Thus I would like to give a tremendous THANK YOU!!! to all those involved, especially those providing the raffle prizes and cakes and to Christ Church Padgate for letting me use their facilities!

Truly, God has been good!
