Today the Logos Hope ended its time at sea and docked in the Chilean port of Valparaiso, near Santiago.

We were escorted by the Chilean Navy before being allowed to dock in the port area. Unfortunately we are not allowed to take photos of the Chilean Navy, so here’s an original art piece depicting what I saw!!!

The day was foggy at first, leaving a very dramatic view of Valparaiso. Indeed the city is very beautiful and the geography is spectacular.

The Logos Hope was greeted by some very enthusiastic locals, who performed a traditional dance for us.

Tomorrow the ship will open officially in Valparaiso and will likely be hectic. Indeed many within Valparaiso are extremely excited for the coming of the ship.

I also realise that I haven’t shared a picture of my cabin. My cabin is on Deck 1; the lowest deck in the ship. It can fit 10 people but currently is holding 9.

I am super excited to explore Valparaiso in the coming weeks and to make use of any upcoming opportunities that God has in store…
