2 Hours Away

Today I travelled with Nadia, Caleb and Anxhela to a town 2 hours away from Montevideo.
The town is called Tarariras and is quite quiet and sleepy.

Here I am in a tree, looking for Monkeys. I didn’t find any.

We visited a Church in which we gave an Evangelistic Workshop and then went out to the streets. On the streets I met an old lady whose daughter had died 6 years prior. She was making Tortas Fritas (an Uruguayan snack) for a living.
Myself and Nadia made Tortas Fritas for ourselves. We really encouraged the old lady and God uses us to bless her in this difficult time.
After this, it was time for an evening service at the local church. Nadia shared her testimony and Caleb preached the message, with Anxhela translating. I think the people were really encouraged.
In the evening, it was time to travel back to Montevideo. It was dark and rainy, which led to a good photo opportunity!

It was a fulfilling day, and I’m so happy that we could bless the old lady with the gift of hope!
