I was tasked with creating a Level Design Document for a level that I have made myself. I had to choose an existing game and design a unique level that could fit seamlessly within.
I chose The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (2011) for my level.
I started by jotting down some ideas that I wanted to include within my dungeon:

I then dived into making some paper top down views for my level:
After I was comfortable with a design, I jumped into Unreal Engine 4 to start blocking out my level. I also began to think of a coherant narrative for the Player to journey on during the exploration of the dungeon.
During this time I created a more proffesional version of my top-down design:

Using this, I concluding blocking out my level, and took some screenshots of the key beats within - as seen below:
